One small self-portrait each day 10 minutes (5,5×7″) on paper with pencil, ink, charcoal, colour pencil… I started ten days ago
Inner landscape
A last post before I update my website, new works to show!
Another way of exploring self-portrait, last week I drew objects that usually stand on my studio’s table
Charcoal on paper around 8×12″(20×30 cm)
Life drawing with zoom
Zoom class at Toronto School of Art with Martha Eleen

Current mood
I am back to self portrait…
Oil paint on paper
Random lines
Alone in my studio, I love the unexpected movement of water and ink
Ink on Aquarelle paper 22”x30” (55×75 cm)
Amalgam
Inspired by wintery landscape and emptiness I yearn for more abstraction and disorder
Oil on cartridge paper 24″x34″ (60x85cm)
Fragments
Still working on my landscapes through the body.
Fragmentation of reality and transparence
Ink, oil painting on canevas and paper (medium 50x50cm and large format 60x90cm)

Long process to the painting, collages, landscapes and bodies
Mixed media on paper ink , oil paint and magazines …

After the long Canadian winter
All through winter I painted a lot, exploring new textures and colours. I did a lot of sketches inspired by Iris (https://haeussler.ca/). Winter landscapes appealed to me and I searched how to give them a presence in my paintings through transparency, fragmentation and distorsion.
Black ink, oil pastel and oil on cartridge paper various sizes and one canevas “upside down on a chair” 22×28 (55x 71 cm).

Series
From a drawing to a painting, about the process… Charcoal on paper, ink on paper, oil on cardboard and plastic paper

Sketching in the blink
Sketching this morning with a wonderful model in Iris ‘s class (Iris Häussler – TSA https://tsa-art.com/faculty-staff/iris-Haeussler/). Ink, walnut stain and water color on sketchbook (21x30cm), some pages with previous image transfers.
