I was very lucky to attend a 4 days workshop with J Louis in New York. It was rich, intense and so inspiring! Here are my two paintings done during the workshop with all the precious advices of J Louis. https://www.jlouis.co/

Danse Butô
Last year I discovered Butô, a Japanese dance theatre. Since then I have been looking at many photographies and videos. I feel moved by slowly motion of white bodies in strange or absurd environments. Still under way…(Photos: Sankaï Juku Japanese company and Ko Murobushi dancer 1947 – 2015)
Trees
Inspired by walking in Canadian forest and paintings from the AGO: small oil painting on cardboard. Presqu’île Provincial Park, Ontario (Photos David Dickel)
Thames path
During my two years in London 2017/2018, I regularly walked along the Thames path between Putney and Battersea power station in wintertime. Mist, light, mud, sand, clouds; all those different grey’s nuances were a source of inspiration. I took a lot of pictures and translated my impressions in mixed media drawings and oil paintings.
